Welcome

I’m Dave Edmunds, a photographer based in Cork on the south coast of Ireland with a passion for landscapes, seascapes, and the natural world. My work also includes drone photography, wildlife, and macro subjects, aiming to capture scenes as they are—quiet, detailed, and honest. Whether from ground level or above, I’m interested in the patterns, textures, and moments that often go unnoticed.

Spending time in nature has become more important than ever. With so much happening in our day-to-day lives, stepping outside offers a way to slow down and find some clarity. The planet and its wildlife aren’t just subjects I photograph—they’re reminders of what we stand to lose and why it matters. Being in natural spaces, whether watching wildlife or simply walking through a landscape, has real benefits for mental wellbeing. It offers perspective, reduces stress, and provides a quiet space to reflect. Through my work, I hope to share some of that experience and encourage a deeper appreciation for the world around us.

Respect for the environment is at the heart of how I approach photography. I follow the principle of Leave No Trace, making sure that in capturing a scene, I don’t leave a mark behind. Our landscapes and wildlife are fragile, and with more people exploring the outdoors, it’s important that we all play a part in protecting these places. Whether it’s staying on paths, avoiding disturbance to animals, or simply being mindful of our impact, small actions can help preserve what we value for future generations.
